Are your child’s movements different than you expected, or do they bring any concerns to mind?
Physical therapy addresses impairments specific to movement including range of motion, strength, balance, posture, and coordination.
Providing physical therapy to your child in your home
Is in-home physical therapy right for your child?
Children are more comfortable in familiar environments, especially their homes. This results in more willingness to participate.
At the end of your child's session, we will give you a tailored program that you and your child can follow between appointments and continue after your child graduates physical therapy.
The session being in your home allows you to have realistic exercises and activities to do with what you already have. The best part is we will walk you through the home program and have you practice before we leave.
Siblings can stay in their familiar environments instead of needing to leave for an appointment in a clinic.
